This is a Queen Post cabin near Lutsen, on the North Shore of Lake Superior.  It measures 28'x36'.  The wood is eastern white pine, with oak pegs and splines.  There are many ways to lay out a floor plan for a frame like this, but here's an example main floor plan and loft floor plan.
